India Urwin

India Urwin is an arts writer and curator living and working in Sydney. India holds a BA with First Class Honours in Art History and Film Studies from the University of Sydney and recently graduated with a Master of Art Curating (2021 USyd). As an emerging arts worker, India has had diverse experience in the Australian arts sector. She was a member of the Art Gallery of NSW’s first-ever Youth Collective, a participant in Sydney Students Speak, has undertaken practical internships at the Chau Chak Wing Museum and the Cementa Festival, and has been a host at AGNSW. At present, India is the Assistant Curator of the Head On Photo Festival, part of the not-for-profit Head On Foundation and is the Assistant Editor of Interactional Magazine, an online photography magazine.
