An experienced leader, project manager, lecturer and consultant. She has chaired the SAMAG committee since mid-2017 and has been a committee member since 2013. She is currently the Director, MPA Projects at the Australia Council for the Arts. Bringing a passion for inclusion and equality to her work, Morwenna is also a committee member of the City of Sydney’s Inclusion Advisory Panel, the Sydney Festival’s Access and Inclusion Panel and the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s Disability Advisory Committee. She has previously been the CEO of Accessible Arts (the peak arts and disability service organisation across NSW which provides information, advocacy and arts opportunities to people with disability) and has been a lecturer in the Music Faculty at the University of Sydney.
Morwenna has Honours and Masters degrees in Music (flute performance and research) from the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University and was the recipient of the University Medal.
